Kai Kurtz

Owner

Kai oversees every staging and design project and makes sure things are running smoothly.  They hold a Bachelors degree in Art and Design and a Masters in Organizational Leadership as well as an amazing attitude.  Kai is a furniture designer and has done all the cool things like designing for an HBO documentary as well as numerous  commercial and residential clients.  They are the creative force behind our divine line of luxury handmade pillows.

Kim Worthington

Director of Store Operations

Kim worked in the medical field before relocating with her family to Wisconsin. Her passion for design and decorating inspired her to open a furniture and home goods store which thrived for 10 years. Kim also enjoys volunteering for hospice for the last 9 years. At Alme Design Co, she is the store manager and coordinates staging logistics.  She lives in Cedarburg with her husband, 2 kids (both in college) and their very popular golden retriever Hazel.

Katie Ferguson

Director of Staging Operations

Katie has a background in corporate event + meeting planning and a love for design since she was young.  She is detail oriented, organized and creates the most beautiful spaces.  She lives in Whitefish Bay with her husband and two daughters who benefit greatly from her design acumen.  She and her husband are on their 3rd successful home renovation.  She is a truly gifted designer.

Natalie Stanczyk

 Designer

Natalie has lived and traveled all over the world. She draws on these travels for inspiration and has created her own style called “Modern Farmhouse Scandinavian” which is as fantastic as it sounds. Spending many years in the Pacific Northwest, Natalie has developed an appreciation for natural beauty that she translates into her designs by using  plants and natural wood tones effortlessly.  She and her husband live in Cedarburg where they are raising their boys.

Soon Hee Rauwald

Soon Hee has always had a love for design and architecture. Having been in the retail space for more than 20 years as an Art Director and Freelance Photo Art Director, we all now benefit from her eye for design and photography skills. She considers herself a minimalist and, as a result, is able to balance beauty and restraint in design.

She calls Whitefish Bay home where she and her husband are bringing up their daughter in a thriving community. 

Stacey Soden

Stacey has been creating and decorating for as long as she can remember.  After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, she bounced around in various careers before finally pursuing her passions with home staging.  Stacey and her husband have spent the last few years DIY-ing and updating their home in Germantown, turning it into a place they love to spend time raising their son.

 Mia Mueller

Mia is an up and coming designer with a BA degree of Interior Architecture & Design. She is a hard worker and gets jobs done. Starting when she was young, she fell in love with interior design and became her passion. Mia is dedicated to her team and adds a lot of energy to the dynamic. She is currently located in Mequon where she hopes to grow her future.

 

 

Tony Caraballo

Mover

Tony is an accomplished woodworker with more than 20 years of carpentry experience. He specializes in cabinetry and finishing. He is part of our moving team but you may also find him tinkering around the store. Tony is originally from the Dominican Republic. He now lives in Milwaukee with his wife and two children.

Damonte Lee

Mover

Damonte is our bilingual translator and mover. He graduated from UWM and in his free time is a talented musician, music producer and audio engineer. His positive attitude and quick wit make each day all the better.
